Villopoto???? No va a la firma d autografos del viernes ciando en USA es practica comun, ademas sin noticias desde q dijo q no al ultimo GP, ayayayay q nos quedamos sin. Alguien tiene info d primera mano?
Hombre, habrá veces de todo, en mi caso fué Stewart el que estaba citado y no vino, en cambio Villo y unos muchos mas si..
A pesar del calor infernal que hizo el fin e semana pasado,me traguè todas la mangas habidas y por haber en Talavera jajaja y desde luego con la que màs foguè fue con la de EMX 125 el domingo con Jorge Prado. Este chaval tiene futuro 😉
En MX2 sòlo puedo decir que Herlings es un animal, como remontaba en la 2ª manga vuelta por vuelta despuès de la caida. Le valìa 6º para ganar la carrera de talavera y al final quedò 7º. Increìble en MX2 està èl y despuès todos los demás.
Y en MXGP destacar lo finìsimo que es Max Nagl...que bien va!! Cairoli conservador en la 1ª manga despuès de que se le levantase la moto en la salida.Pero en la 2ª dejò claro que con 350 o 450 es el rey. Febvre tuvo su momento de gloria pero Tony como perro viejo que es sòlo tuvo que esperar el momento y que le pusiera el liderato en bandeja.
Cairoli ya ha explicado que 450 le cansa bastante mas que la 350 por el diferente esfuerzo que exije a los musculos al dispomer de un par tan brutal. El caso es que se ve obligado a cogerla debido a los cambios que se avecinan en los circuitos del Mundial!
Ya estamos casi en el , quizas, mejor GP de cada temporada, el UK GP, un verdadero festival de MX, sin Villopoto pero con todos los demas y un invitado de honor: Mike Alessi, istedes que creeis que hara? Tiempo atras le discutio carreras y campeonata a Ryan Dungey, antes del lasericidio y de emigrar al Canada. Podra volver a ser el Mike Alessi capaz de entrar segundo en las mangas con Cairoli, Desalle, Nagl, Paulin, Simpson, etc????

En 2010 ya tuvieron un de Tu a Tu que no estuvo nada mal cuando #800 era oficial KTM. Làstima que Mike ya no estè al mismo nivel. Pero siempre es grato ver que los Yanquis se dejen caer por Europa

El lasericidio consistio en una estupidez del hermano de Mike Alessi, no de él propiamente.
En plena salida de una manga de los Nationals 2013, Jeff Alessi enfocó con un puntero laser directamente a los ojos de Ryan Villopoto, que obviamente se vió cegado por unos instantes y reclamó airado al llegar.
Mike no hizo nada malo, pero el hecho le hizo quedar muy mal ante todo el deporte USA, fans, fabricas, rivales y no digamos ante el afectado y de ahí que la siguiente temporada decidiera probar suerte en Canada
Y lo de la recuperacion de un coxis partido en 4 cachitos podemos todos imaginar lo que debe de doler y eso no esta en el mejor sitio para sentarse en una moto hiperpotente y liarse a dar brincos y frenadas bacheadas!!! RV2 está ahora con Aldon y cuando se reponga veremos, y digo veremos, porque puede ir para largo.
Tan largo que se habla ya de segundo intento en 2016 y Monster ha tenido que salir a la palestra y frenar en seco los rumores y especulaciones de retorno a Usa para hacer los Outdoors.

Having been advised to return to America to receive specialist treatment for an injury to his coccyx sustained recently in Italy, Ryan Villopoto has been told that he will miss the UK round of the MXGP Championship due to further spinal damage.
The specialist medical team working with the four time US Supercross champion confirmed the coccyx injury and also discovered an L4 compression in Ryan’s lower spine. Upon close examination, X-rays indicated that the injured bone material is healing but not at the speed either the Monster Energy Kawasaki Racing Team rider or his advisors would hope.
Upon discussion with his trainer, Aldon Baker – and considering his desire to compete in and win further MXGP’s in 2015 – the 26 year old has taken the difficult decision to stay in the USA and concentrate on a return to fitness in the shortest possible timeframe.
Commenting on the development, Steve Guttridge, Racing Manager for Kawasaki Motors Europe, observed that only a fully fit Villopoto would be able to seriously compete and make his presence known in the premier league of World motocross. “Ryan’s taken the decision to sit out of the British MXGP this weekend. Having suffered more back pain these past weeks he’s not been able to train fully or even ride his KX450-SR practice bike while back in the States. We are now collectively searching for the best structure to help his swift recovery in order that he can come back to MXGP’s when he is fully recovered, bike fit and race-ready again”.
Speaking on behalf of major team sponsor, Monster Energy, Mitch Covington, Vice President of Sports Marketing, concluded. “We want a 100% fit Ryan Villopoto. Ryan is doing what he has to do to recover properly and we support him 100% in this decision. He will be back and ready to finish strong instead of just going through the motions hurt.”

Pero este tu a tu fue en un circuito americano, donde los europeos se adaptan bien, como se pudo ver con Desalle y Stribjos el año pasado mas recientemente. Estas 2 carreras que va a hacer en principio son en Europa donde los americanos no se terminan de adaptar igual, un caso actual, Villopoto, y casos no muy lejanos Decotis o el propio hermano de Mike, Jeff Alessi. Estos 2 ultimos desistieron pronto

En este Youtube podéis ver la discusión posterior con el comisario que les afeaba la acción y prometía acciones en su contra y el propio Jeff negaba todo, rotundo y mal hablado.
Luego pediría mil veces perdón y el propio Jeff escribió una carta pública de disculpas, en la que pedía perdón a su hermano por el feo gesto y por tirar por tierra muchos años de abnegada labor para labrarse un buen nombre, y que e´l con todo ello había perjudicado.
La carta:
I'm here to inform all of you that I am responsible for the incident that happened this weekend at Washougal national. As many of you know a green laser went across Ryan Villopoto and Malcolm Stewart before the start of the first moto. I was the person who did that and I would like to say to those two riders that I am very sorry for causing any distraction to them before the start of the race. I had no intent to harm either rider or affect their results.
I would also like to extend my sincere apologies to Steve Matthes who had to hear the wrath of my father who was defending me with the thought that I was innocent because I told him a story to make him think I wasn't guilty, and also for saying what I said to him during the confrontation.
To my brother, my father, and Mike Genova, words cannot describe the pain and shame I have to live with right now knowing the problems I caused for all of you and the rest of the team. I know how hard you work Mike800, and how you've made your one goal to stay out of drama and just race and try to show the masses that you are a great rider that loves racing.
When I sit here and think about what I did and what it caused I feel like I ruined EVERYTHING you spent the last 5 years building on, and I am so sorry brother because you don't deserve any of this.
To my dad, thanks for standing up for me and showing me you would take that bullet for me. I shouldn't have told you a story when you looked at me and asked what I did. I should've just told you the truth but I couldn't because I was terrified and scared and what came out instead was little and low and you still believed me because that's what you do when your kids say something. I was so dumb.
Mike Genova, what can I say other than you tried getting me back on track here and wanted me to make a difference and I didn't make any difference except cost you a lot of people's respect they had started having for you. You're like my second father, and just like my dad I lied to you too, and you defended me against it all and I'm here to finally give up my story and come clean and tell you I was standing in the grass with a $12 dollar laser acting like a five-year-old, doing childish pranks and it all came down on your team and my brother. I'm really sorry, Mike. I thought I had changed and I made an effort prior to that mistake to do nothing wrong all week and try to help but I stopped thinking and I'm truly sorry.
My last apology I will end with is to the man who did his job and found me when I was doing something wrong, Davey Coombs. I am so sorry I had to put you in that situation that you had to spend important time looking for who was causing the big problem. I know how disappointed you were when you found out I was the one with the device and you had to do what you did, but I also want you to know I never thought you were rough with me, you were just doing your job.
To everyone else, the Monster Energy Kawasaki team, JGR, the Stewart family; MotoConcept team members Vince Freise, James, Dave Dye, Daniel Castloo, Shauna Genova and Sandy Genova; I'm sorry for the outcome of this, it was never my intentions and I will work hard to learn from all of this and return to a professional human that uses his brain before making actions.
To the motorcycle community, I hope this does not reflect who I am because I'm not the person it looks like I am right now and I will try and prove that in the future.

La cuestión es que papá Alessi, que también vemos en las imágenes, es el pequeñito de todos, ya tenía una fama considerable y muchas broncas a sus espaldas y la imagen del Team Owner Mike Geneva, cerveza en mano y medio borracho tampoco da una gran imagen de todos ellos 🙁
