Martin Honda and Ryan Mills part company
MANTOVA, 4 MAG – Team Martin Honda and professional rider Ryan Mills have amicably decided to dissolve their cooperation that consisted in taking part in MX 2 (250cc) Motocross World Championship with Honda bike and Honda Motor Europe support.
Mills had a difficult start to the season, in fact he suffered an injury to his right wrist in Mantova, last February 10th during Mantova Starcross practice sessions, and a fall during a test in Jesolo right before Benelux GP, and he wasn't able to recover a condition that could let him compete efficaciously in MX 2 class. The decision was taken by mutual consent with his manager James Dobb from WMG Management and Paolo Martin.
Paolo Martin – team manager
« I've spoken with Ryan Mills and with James Dobb, we decided to part company, after Ryan's difficulty to fight successfully because of injuries and an understandable struggle to adapt to the European way of life . We thank him for his commitment and his attachment to our Team and we hope he will restart his career in America in the best way. As for us, we are looking for a professional rider who will replace him in the best way».
Ryan Mills professional rider
« I've decided to return home to America by mutual consent with my manager James Dobb and with Paolo Martin. Unfortunately, some injuries and a very different race system compared with the American race system have compromised my possibility to take part to the World Championship efficaciously. I would like to thank Paolo Martin and the Team for having placed a perfect bike, professional mechanics and a great organization at my disposal. I wish them all the best for the rest of the season».
