Kärcher, the cleaning specialist from Winnenden, Germany, becomes a new partner for the FIM Motocross World Championship after acquiring the title sponsorship for the Flanders Grand Prix, to be held at Circuit Zolder on April2nd 2006 for the opening round of the FIM Motocross World Championship
The event is officially called Kärcher Grand Prix of Flanders and Kärcher becomes the exclusive supplier of the washing area where will be responsible for cleaning the motorcycles for all riders partiecipating.
Kärcher will also be a leading figure for the whole season alongside trackside advertisement bridge and boards as well as podium and TV interview back-drop.
The Cleaning equipment manufacturer, who sees itself as a top performer in cleaning technology and maintenance of value, believes that motorsports is a good venue for the company to be in. The sponsorship is intended to further increase awareness of the Kärcher brand – among private end users in particular. Since the beginning of the year Kärcher is also a new sponsor of the FIA World Rally Championship (WRC). The world market leader supports the WRC series as a whole and also the Ford team with Marcus Grönholm and Mikko Hirvonen.
