Zach Osborne will return from injury to race the tenth round of the World Motocross Championship, this weekends maiden Latvian Grand Prix at Kegums. The circuit holds fond memories for the American racer, after he won the 85cc Youth World Motocross Championship title there five years ago in 2004.
Having ridden the UTAG Yamaha YZ250F at Mel Pocock’s practice facility on Saturday 20th June, the first time since the British GP, Zach felt comfortable on the bike and trained a further three times on the hard pack surface of the Genk circuit in Belguim during this last week. Although perhaps a little ‘race rusty’ confidence in the team is high that the wrist injury will not hamper race results.
