Great start for the 24th edition of the Paris Bercy Supercross, once more fully booked! The French fans were glad to celebrate the first win of Christophe Pourcel in Bercy, his main Supercross trophy.
Coming straight from the US were he tested his Pro Circuit Kawasaki, Christophe brought back in his luggages a 250 prepared by Mitch Payton and claimed the winner’s trophy. Second behind Josh Grant – winner of his semi as well as David Vuillemin – during the first two laps, he got the leadership when Grant crashed in the whoops section and retired. Pourcel had no rivals during the fourteen laps, winning his first International Supercross followed by surprising Justin Brayton who scored a podium for this first trip in France. Frenchman Pierre Alexandre Renet, winner of the French SX round, scored his first ever podium in Bercy, claiming the third spot followed by Sorby.
