As always the atsmospher was incredible on Saturday for the second night of the Paris Bercy Supercross, and the fans came crazy when David Vuillemin won the main event followed by Christophe Pourcel. Leading the team’s classification after two nights, for first time in the history of Bercy, the Frenchie’s are in good position to get the magnificient trophy tomorrow afternoon.
David Vuillemin had another tough night in Bercy, after his retirement yesterday with a broken engine. He got an engine from Pierre Alexandre Renet, but had to go to the last chance session as he collided with Sébastien Pourcel in his heat race. Both winners of their qualifying race, Josh Grant and Christophe Pourcel had the best start in the main. Grant was leading the race but one more he crashed during the fifth lap and lost the leadership; but he recovered pretty fast and took again the lead in the tenth of fifteenth circulations. Unfortunately Josh crashed again one lap later and retired! Pourcel and Vuillemin were then battling for the win, supported by the fans, and finally David beats Christophe followed by Jason Lawrence in third position. He saved with Justin Brayton fifth the US colors, as Mike Alessi crashed and lost too much time to restart his bike.
